Situated in the north-east of England, Northumbria has two separate campuses. Coach Lane Campus is situated in a leafy suburb of the city, 3 miles from City Campus and linked by the University’s free bus service.

Northumbria University has always been one of the most ambitious and successful UK universities for sport and in summer 2010 opened the doors to a state-of-the-art 30 million GBP sport facility – Sport Central. With its striking architecture, Sport Central is a stunning new landmark building in Newcastle’s city centre. In addition, there are modern indoor and outdoor sports facilities also at Coach Lane Campus.

Northumbria-English Language Requirements
- Non-native English-speaking students will need to demonstrate their English language skills as part of the application process. Although the university accepts a range of English language qualifications, the level specified varies from course to course. In general, an IELTS score of at least 6.0 overall, with 5.5 in each component is required.

- Accommodations, on and off campus are available for first year students who are eligible and apply before the deadline. The university also offers advice for accommodation when the students’ family come for a visit.
