Coach Lane Campus is situated in a leafy suburb of the city, 3 miles from City Campus and linked by the University’s free bus service.

Northumbria University has always been one of the most ambitious and successful UK universities for sport and in summer 2010 opened the doors to a state-of-the-art 30 million GBP sport facility – Sport Central. With its striking architecture, Sport Central is a stunning new landmark building in Newcastle’s city centre. In addition, there are modern indoor and outdoor sports facilities also at Coach Lane Campus
