One- year GCSE at Kings London

International students aged 15 at Kings College London and 3 other colleges prepare themselves to take GCSE official exam through one-year GCSE (3 terms).To study this course oversea students should take the Junior Entrance Test equivalent to minimum IELTS 5.0 ( or present an  IELTS 5.0 certificate)and have completed 9 years schooling in their home country. In 3 terms of accelerated GCSE at Kings London, you will improve your English skills to the level required for A-Level or Foundation courses and study main academic subjects for 40-42 hours per week with at most 10 fellow students in the classroom. The course start date is in September.

It is also possible to study Standard two-year GCSE at Kings Bournemouth College Only.

A-Levels at Kings London

A-Levels are essential for any students considering applying to Oxford, Cambridge, or to medical schools in Britain. Given that the Kings Education Group offers A-Level in 4 different study plans. International students can study the Standard two-year program, One-year program, Transfer from Year 12, and Extended program.

Standard two-year program

This study plan is available at 4 different Kings Education colleges in September and January. Usually, UK students who have studied their whole schooling based on the National Curriculum in England take the Standard two-year program at Kings Education centers. It is also possible for 16 year old international students who have 10 years of academic education and IELTS 5.5 (5.0 in Reading and Writing) or equivalent to gain UK national university entrance qualification from this Two-year A-Level program.

One-year A-level

In September, 17(16 in exceptional circumstances) international students can pursue their dreams of studying in Oxford, Cambridge, and medical schools in the UK at Kings London and Kings Brighton. One –year A-level is an intensive program for sage international students with minimum IELTS 6.5 (5.0 in Reading and Writing) or equivalent and 11 years of schooling.

Transfer from Year 12

Extended A-Level

Extended A-Level is a pathway course for international students who do not have the language skills to enter directly into Two-year A-Level at Kings Centers. The structure of this program is 1 to 4 terms of English learning with some academic subjects’ classes plus 6 terms of A-Level Programs. Surely, the students need English language proficiency equal to IELTS 4.0 and 10 years of education in their home countries to study this course in January, April, June, and September at Kings London. Students should be 16 years old but it is possible for students at the age of 15 to study Extended A-Level at Kings Bournemouth and Brighton.

Advance Level Foundation at Kings London

Advanced level foundation at Kings London, as well as 3 other Kings Education Group centers in the UK, is for 16.5 international students.

Art and Design Foundation at Kings London

International students who wish to have a place at UK top universities to study art-related subjects could join this one academic year program. The entry requirements for oversea students are as follow:

  • Portfolio
  • IELTS 5.0 or equivalent
  • Completed 11-12 years of schooling

16.5 year-old students can study this program in September and January at Kings Brighton, London and Oxford.

If you are 16 years old and your IELTS overall score is 4.0 then you can work on your English and portfolio development in 3 terms Art and Design preparation program. For 16-year-old international students with IELTS 4.5 one or two Preparation courses are available at Kings London, Oxford, and Brighton.

Law foundation program at Kings London

This pre- University foundation program is for the international students who have completed 11-12 years of schooling in their home country and want to study Law –related degrees at UK universities. Students need an English certificate equals to IELTS 5.5 (5.0 in Reading and Writing) or equivalent to start this program in September at the age of 16.5.

For 16 years old international students with IELTS 4.0 or equivalent Extended program is available at this college.

University of Bristol Pathway at Kings London

International students can get a conditional offer from the University of Bristol to enter the first year of study in the following subjects:

Engineering / Economics, Accounting & Management / Law / Maths, Computing & Sciences / Humanities & Social Sciences / International Business/   Life & Health Sciences

The students can receive the university conditional offers for the above- mentioned subjects by studying Two-year A-Level and One-year Advanced Level foundation at all of four Kings Colleges in September.
