General Info


Students at TSM learn English in a very friendly environment. TSM is a small language centre specialising in tailor-made English lessons. Eastbourne is surrounded by beautiful country side and is the start of the 'South Downs Way' a downland walk which runs along the South Coast of England. It is on the sunshine coast of England and is renowned for its gardens, seafront and pier. The town has a great deal to offer with 8 cinemas, 4 theatres, discos, pubs, restaurants, shopping centre and much more. Eastbourne is situated on the sunny south coast of England. It has a beautiful Promenade providing plenty of spots to sit. The Promenade is 5 miles long and includes a world famous Bandstand. People with a love of the sea will enjoy browsing around the elegant Sovereign Harbour which has been turned into one of the most up to date Marina's in Europe. The Pier features high tech amusements and a cafe bar. It dates from the 1870's. The East Sussex coastline is a designated Area of Outstanding Beauty. The chalk cliffs of Beachy Head stand out magnificently from the English Channel with a walkers route along the cliff tops called the Peace Path. Eastbourne is proud to have the Devonshire Park Tennis venue which has been graced by the presence of international stars. There are regular tournaments which are well supported.

We believe that for a complete English experience, living with a HOST FAMILY gives you the best environment in which to improve your English ability outside the classroom. Accomodation with a Host family includes: Half board (breakfast and evening meals) on weekdays Full board (breakfast/light lunch and main evening meal) at weekends One load of clothes washed a week Suitable studying facilities in your room; i.e. desk and chair Easy access to all the towns main attractions However, we realise that this way may not suit everybody, and with this in mind we can also offer SELF-CATERING facilities for those who prefer to be independent.
