General Info


Our main school building is located in Queensway, near Hyde Park , Kensington Gardens and the trendy Notting Hill Gate area. The district is exciting and cosmopolitan, with excellent transport links to every part of London . We pride ourselves in being able to provide high standards of professionalism at reasonable prices, while offering a wide range of courses, cultural and social activities and facilities. At Stanton there is continuous reinvestment in a programme of development for the benefit of staff and students. This has been our policy since the School's foundation in 1973. Our annexe building is 5 minutes walk from the main school, and is situated in a quiet mews moments from Bayswater underground station. We are a large school with an average of 700 students enrolled at any one time, rising to 900 during the Summer. Our students come from all over the world. The main features of Stanton School are its surprisingly low tuition fees and its clean and modern environment. With over 50 highly qualified, motivated and experienced staff all working to make your stay in Britain an enjoyable and profitable experience, you will always remember your time at Stanton Full use is made of audio-visual equipment, including video. Both schools have audio self-access facilities, as well as internet and e-mail facilities. There are both fixed and mobile video facilities

Accommodation Info


Many of our students decide to stay as paying guests in private homes ("Home Stay Accommodation") for some or all of their time in London . There are clear advantages in staying in an environment where English is spoken all the time, as well as the security of having a "home away from home" in such a large and busy city as London . Our Home Stay and Welfare managers have inspected all our Home Stay locations, and their database enables them to match your requirements rapidly. All our Home Stay hosts are required to follow our Code of Practice, and you can expect a welcoming environment to come home to at the end of your busy day. You will have a unique opportunity to use your English in a variety of practical situations and you will see how the English really live -your home is a supplement to the lessons and the place where you make firm friendships. We hope these friendships will last for years! Accommodation may be in single or twin rooms . If the room is shared, we ensure the students speak different languages, unless you want to share with a friend. The Application Form for accommodation shows you how to reserve a place in a Homestay, with Breakfast and Dinner or Breakfast only (your hosts are always careful to cook food that is appropriate to the dietary or religious requirements of their student guests) and be sure to reserve at least 4 weeks in advance of your arrival date.
