Description


The travel, tourism and hospitality industry is now the largest sector in the global economy. This 1 year course provides a pathway for those students wishing to progress onto a management career within that industry. It combines business skills with an insight into all areas of the travel industry and career paths within the industry. The course will result in an ABE Diploma which is recognised all over the world and can provide your first steps to post-graduate studies at a UK university. The syllabus consists of all the main functional areas of business, including finance, marketing, human resource management and operations. Specific modules concentrate on industry knowledge and travel, tourism and hospitality operations management. It is relevant to any student who has completed the Malvern House 12 week Business Certificate or who has a school leaving certificate or who has demonstrated suitable work experience.
