General Info


ISIS Brighton is located in a beautiful 5 storey Regency building with views over the sea. Brighton town centre is within a short distance, and there are many cafes, restaurants and shops near the school. The many suburban Victorian streets where most of our host families live are easily accessible. The school facilities include 9 classrooms, a social room with internet and email access and a kitchenette where students are able to get hot and cold drinks and snacks.

Accommodation Info


All ISIS Language Centres are accredited by the British Council and aim to provide an affordable and comfortable environment for students while they study in the UK. In September 2004, ISIS introduced a new set of criteria in an attempt to guarantee standards across the accommodation services. The main accommodation options are: ? Homestay ? Hotels, Guest Houses ? and Bed and Breakfasts ? College Residence ? Rental Properties ? Executive Stays All the options can be requested for periods from one week to one year, but availability for certain options is limited in high season and by location. All partner companies are carefully vetted to make sure that students receive high quality accommodation. Among the assessment criteria, ISIS inspects accommodation based on comfort, value, hygiene, location, safety precautions and friendliness of staff and families. Some accommodation options may not be available at all schools - please check availability.

Social Activities


As well as providing excellent academic courses ISIS are committed to ensuring that you have a fun time in England. To this end we try and provide a full weekly social programme which we hope will help you become fully immersed in the English way of life, and also enjoy the opportunity to meet people from all over the world and build long, lasting friendships with other students. All students are actively encouraged to take part in the social programme, with activities talking place in both the afternoon and evening. Activities are varied, combining cultural visits with pub nights and discos, and we feel sure that this mix means that there is something for everyone. However, should you require anything special, we will of course do whatever we can to help arrange this. All activities are accompanied by a member of ISIS staff. The cost of activities are not included in the package but we make every effort to provide a number of free activities each week. The programme is carefully designed to be educational, interesting and, above all fun! We hope all of you will become involved in the social programme and you will get as much as possible out of your stay.
