Description


The Morning classes concentrate on improving every aspect of the your English. There are twelve levels with a range of classes at each level. You will be placed at the right level for you, taking into account your degree of spoken and grammatical competence, which is assessed in the placement test. There is an average of twenty classes, and if you make particular progress, you will be able to move to a higher level at any time. On this course you attend classes for three hours every day, and are given one hour's homework. Each weekly programme of studies follows a syllabus which ensures steady progress, and the teacher will make any adjustments to each week's programme according to the needs and requirements of each individual class. In any typical week, you will work on developing and improving active use of grammar, using the course book as the basis of your studies. There will also be vocabulary development work, where the teacher will introduce a theme or topic which forms the basis of the exercises, so that you increase your range of vocabulary in a contextualised way. Depending on the collective needs of each class, the teacher also decides which aspect of skills work on concentrate on, and aims to improve as many as possible in any one week. You may spend time working on vocabulary, specific reading and listening skills and times writing. Extensive writing exercises are given as homework.
