General Info

COURSE STRUCTURE Our full-time courses are run throughout the year and we have classes for different levels of English as well as more specialised courses. New full-time students are able to start on any Monday. On the first day, new students receive a test and interview so that they can be placed in the right class and they can choose either a standard 15-hour per week or 21-hour per week intensive course. All students are carefully monitored to ensure progress with regular tutorials and evaluations. A typical morning starts at 9.30am and finishes at 1.00pm. All courses can be booked from two weeks up to one academic year. Private classes can also be arranged at times to suit individual students. Social Activities

Flying Classrooms is the perfect place to experience life in England. The school is in the centre of the historic city of Norwich, a small, peaceful, but thriving city situated about 40 minutes from the Norfolk coast and about 1-2 hours from both London and Cambridge. There are numerous restaurants, bars, and cafes close by as well as a post office and banks. When the school is over for the day there are some fantastic shopping centres, art galleries and museums, as well as the famous cathedral and castle. Norwich has a buzzing nightlife with a choice of cinemas, theatres, pubs and clubs. Student accommodation is convenient, mostly within easy walking distance of the city centre. Of course Flying Classrooms also offers a bustling social program. Students regularly meet to watch one of our many English films in the common room. We also have seasonal parties (e.g Christmas or Halloween) and run pub and quiz nights at certain times during the week. During the summer we run monthly trips to Cambridge and London for weekend activities such as dining out, theatre or sightseeing. There are also plans for a backpacking trip in the Swiss Alps.
