Description


The course is designed for all students who are considering a career in the hospitality industry. There is an initial teaching element for a set period of weeks, and gives a basic introduction to catering and hospitality management. The practical element introduces the student to common working practices in the UK catering industry. Whilst on placement students will do a work-related project. Students return to school for 1-2 weeks to complete course work and validation. Students receive information about their accommodation prior to the course start date. The course leads to an externally validated qualification by the University of Cambridge International Examinations. (CIE) There are 2 versions of the above course: 21 weeks for those students who have an upper intermediate level or above; and 32 weeks for students with an intermediate level or above.

An upper intermediate English language level (IELTS 5.5/B2 CEF) or above for IHM21 An Intermediate English language level (IELTS 4.5/B1 CEF) or above for IHM32
