IELTS Intensive Courses run outside the summer months from January to June and September to December. Courses are 10 to 13 weeks long but you can come for as little as 4 weeks.The IELTS Examination is very useful for those students who want to go on to study at a British University or College. Most universities and colleges will want you to have a score between 5.5 and 6.5 depending which course you want to take.The examination is taken in Eastbourne - please note that the fees are not included in the price of the course.On these courses, you have 23 full, 60-minute hours in class every week. You spend 19 hours a week with your main class concentrating on preparing for the IELTS examination and you also have 4 hours of Special Interest Groups.Wednesday afternoon is free and the School's Social Programme is there for you in the evenings and at the weekend, of course.
