Description
CAE has many years experience of running homestay and residential courses, mainly in the summer but also at other times of year. Young learners (9-16 years old) from all over the world come on our courses, many of them returning year after year. All our teenage and children's courses are fully-inclusive and include tuition, accommodation, social programme, airport transfers, all meals, admissions and insurance. All students receive a report and certificate on departure. Key Points Residential accommodation 24-hour supervision Children aged 9-13 Elementary level and above 12.5 hours of lessons per week Maximum 48 children, in classes of 12 students Staff: student ratio of 1:6 No large groups from one country Wide choice of afternoon activities/sports Private tennis courts, sports hall, football pitches and heated swimming pool 1 full-day and 1 half-day excursion per week All costs included in course price Course structure Students can enrol for 2,3,4,5 or 6 weeks Lessons take place every morning from Monday to Friday Learn vocabulary, grammar, speaking and listening using projects Learn the English you need by doing the things you like to do Students have lessons in the morning and social activities in the afternoon and evening 30 minutes homework every day There are excursions every weekend- usually shopping trips or visits to London or a theme park.

What can you do at Moreton Hall. It has fantastic playing fields, an indoor sports hall and swimming pool. There is lots of space and there are so many things to that you'll never be bored. Here are some examples of what you can do. In the afternoons choose from: Sports: Football, Basketball, Baseball, Volleyball, Badminton, Tennis, Ten-pin bowling, Cricket, Rugby Art and Craft: T-shirt painting, Face painting, Drawing, Hair braiding, Mask making, Playground art Activities: Juggling, Acting, Singing, Music, Drama, Dance In the evenings, take part in: Cinema visits, Discos, Theme parties, Quizzes, Competitions Location Moreton Hall is a private boarding school, which in summer becomes the centre for CAE's junior residential course. It is in Bury St Edmund's, which is a small, friendly market town 35 minutes east of Cambridge by car. Students sleep in dormitories with between 3 and 9 other children. Teachers sleep in bedrooms next to the student dormitories and are on duty throughout the night.
