BE-20A: Tourist Industry English Hours per week including breaks: 20, made up of 15 hours in GE-15 group classes in the morning and 5 hours in one-to-one or small-group sessions after lunch The tourist/travel industry is the fastest-growing service sector in the world, measured in terms of new jobs created each year. This Burlington course assists students in qualifying for appointments in this field. The course syllabus is based on an individual student’s needs, and employs state-of-the-art published materials. This course has two parts. Students attend Burlington General English (GE-15) instruction, plus additional specialised instruction for approximately 5 hours each week. The daily hour of specialised tuition allows students to focus on language relevant to their field, and to familiarise themselves with all aspects of the travel industry. This course is a popular option for students seeking English instruction to support their future career objectives.
