Description


This course is 20 lessons a week and is a less intensive option for those students who only want to study 20 lessons a week. from Monday to Friday, with a 20-minute break. This gives the equivalent of 20 x 50 minute lessons a week. There is an integrated approach to learning, with all the skills - speaking, listening, reading and writing given attention along with Grammar, pronunciation and vocabulary development. We have found that studying English with different focuses gives a good all round balance, and one which students find useful. When the above is not available, 20 lessons per week will be provided in a tailor-made combination of AM and PM lessons. Once every month the class is taken in to the study centre, where students are given the opportunity to use the internet or the library, in order to work on projects or areas of language, which are particularly important to them. The class teacher always accompanies the students during this time and it is an integral part of the course.

Additional Info


We have organised our courses and timetable so Friday afternoons are free, which gives students the opportunity for more self-study, or time to join in social activities. Importantly, it also enables teachers, and welfare staff time to meet and undergo intensive training.
