The Management and Business Administration programmes are best suited to participants with a minimum Intermediate level of English on entry (IELTS 5.5 for the certificate; IELTS 5.0 for the higher certificate, diploma and foundation), who are seeking a professional skills programme specialising in English, management and business administration. The courses are aimed at young professionals and students who are seeking a career or further study in management and require proficiency in English. Depending on the options selected by students, these courses lead to awards from BBSI, CMI (Certificate in Management), City & Guilds (Vocational Key Skills Certificate) and NCFE. University Foundation The University Foundation (UMB24/36), in its 2 or 3-term format, expands the diploma programme to 30 lessons weekly to include Academic Study Skills and IELTS Examination Preparation. The UMB also includes individual counselling and guidance in all aspects of study at UK universities, as well as full assistance with the university application process.
