The courses are aimed at young professionals and students who are seeking a career or further study in finance-related fields and require proficiency in English. Depending on the options selected by students, these courses lead to awards from BBSI and NCFE, and the City & Guilds (Vocational Key Skills Certificate). University Foundation Courses The University Foundation (UFS24/36), in its 2 or 3-term format, expands the diploma programme to 30 lessons weekly to include Academic & Core Skills and IELTS Examination Preparation. The UMP also includes individual counselling and guidance in all aspects of study at UK universities, as well as full assistance with the university application process. Course Content Term 1: Weeks 1-12 16 lessons business communication skills 10 lessons English 4 lessons IT Skills, or IELTS Preparation/Academic Study Skills (UFS only) Term 2: Weeks 13-24 lessons in finance lessons English lessons IELTS Preparation/Academic Study Skills (UFS only) Term 3: Weeks 25-36 10 lessons in finance 6 lessons in English 4 lessons IELTS Preparation/Academic Study Skills (UFS only)
