Description
In today's world of business and leisure travel there is a growing need for professional, qualified travel agency staff. Particularly those who have been professionally trained to deal with the complexities of international airline ticket sales are in great demand in this exciting industry. The CTHCM Diploma in Travel Agency Management has been designed to provide students with a broad knowledge of the operational aspects of travel agency management and a good understanding of the tourism industry. It gives comprehensive training in the management, computing, and airline ticketing skills that are needed in today's fast-moving travel industry. For our fares & Ticketing modules we have IATA qualified instructors and we use course materials and study manuals prepared by Virgin Atlantic to teach up to IATA Level 2 standard and a choice of either Galileo, Sabre, Amadeus or Worldspan CRS (Computerised Reservation Systems) so students can select the CRS specific to the country they or company they may be working in. This gives the student the maximum 30 IATA official training points. The course is particularly suited to those who would eventually like to open their own travel agency but can also be used for employment by travel agencies, tour operators and all airlines.
