General Info


Anniesland College is located in the West End of Glasgow, 3 miles from the city centre and has two campuses, Hatfield and Balshagray. The College is proud of its reputation as a friendly community college and has been awarded the Charter Mark and Investors in People. Organised into 7 schools, some 8,000 students enjoy full time and part time courses in the following areas: The Business School Communication, Languages & Media Computing Design & Construction Engineering Hospitality, Leisure & Creative Arts Social & Community Studies

Accommodation Info


The college does not have its own halls of residence, but our students may rent rooms at Unity Halls of Residence in nearby Yorkhill. Some students prefer to live in shared, self-catering flats, which usually cost from £60 to £70 per week (although some short term accommodation may be more expensive). An accommodation list is available from Student Services.

Social Activities


There are plenty of historical places to visit in Glasgow and the surrounding areas. Glasgow has many museums, galleries and attractions for people to visit. Go and see the sights and sounds of Scotland, the people are friendly and the landscape beautiful.
