If you are over fifty years old these courses offer you an ideal opportunity to: visit England for a stimulating and purposeful holiday refresh and improve your command of English meet your English counterparts and learn more about them and their country visit historic places in England take part in enjoyable leisure activities 20 study sessions per week in the classroom and lecture room, including: group activities to improve your understanding and use of English free and guided oral practice discussions on British Life and Institutions and other subjects of topical and cultural interest introductions to excursions and special activities of the programme Whatever your age, and however long it is since you completed your formal education, you need have no doubts about your ability to return to the classroom. The course is informal and relaxed, and your teachers will do all they can to ensure that you enjoy it. The school provides selected homestay accommodation so that you have no worries about your welfare and your meals. Alternatively, if you wish to be independent we can recommend local hotels at preferential rates. Your programme will include guided excursions to interesting destinations in southern England. All the arrangements will be made for you by the school.  Free afternoons are also scheduled to give you time for shopping and sightseeing on your own. Partner Programme Your partner or a friend may come with you to England and participate in the excursions, leisure and cultural activities without taking the lessons.  Price available on request.
