University of East Anglia UEA is ranked amongst the top three for student satisfaction according to the first National Student Survey and in the top 20 in the UK by the Sunday Times. University of East Anglia UEA also came top of the most recent research effectiveness league table published by Research Fortnight.

Nearly 90 per cent of University of East Anglia UEA research was rated of international excellence in the latest (2008) Research Assessment Exercise, with over 50 per cent ‘world leading’. Norwich has the fourth greatest concentration of ‘most highly cited researchers’ in the UK, after London, Oxford and Cambridge – thanks to the University and its Norwich Research Park partners. In a survey of top institutions researching geosciences over the last decade, the University of East Anglia UEA was the third university in the world, just after Harvard and Princeton.
