Sprachcaffe International is an organisation that has provided students with accommodation, university placement, language training, computer training and holidays for over twenty years! There are branches of Sprachcaffe in 25 cities worldwide, from Frankfurt to Havana. In Brighton we have a language school and residence, all designed specifically for students.

Our school in Brighton is conveniently located near the sea. Brighton Pier, Churchill Square Shopping Centre, the Royal Pavilion Palace and, of course, the beach are all not far away. The school residence is also just a short walk away from the language school.

The building that houses the English school has a courtyard. For the free time before and after the English lessons, there is also a student lounge available for course participants to use. Free internet access provided by the school can also be used by students. Participants also have the opportunity to enjoy a fully organized social program and weekend activities.

We offer three different types of accommodation in Brighton which you can choose from for your English course. You can select the one which best suits you and your requirements. We want you to feel completely at home in Brighton! All the accommodation types offer you the chance to get talking to other people. While conversing with local people and other language students, you could practice the language learned in class and thus help consolidate your newly-acquired English knowledge.

Apartment

Accommodation in apartments is best suited to communicative, open people who would like to make friends quickly. The single and double rooms offer an area in which to relax, while the shared kitchen provides a room for socializing with students of different nationalities. Some apartments are located in the school residence, while others are in different parts of the city.

Homestay

We offer carefully selected homestays for your language holiday in Brighton. This accommodation type gives you the chance to directly apply your English and to experience local people talking about life in Brighton. You’ll live with a family and will therefore share part of their everyday life in Brighton. Some families live near the school, whereas others are reachable by bus. It is necessary to purchase a bus ticket. In the Homestay accommodation you’ll stay in a single or double room, and will receive half board.

Your satisfaction is of particular importance to Sprachcaffe. The following criteria should therefore be fulfilled by our homestays:

• Shortest possible distance between the school and the Homestay accommodation
• A single or double room must be available
• Standards and level of comfort should conform to standards typical of the country
• The availability of the family plays a large role in our selection
• Half board must be provided

Residence

Our Sprachcaffe residence, which is in a building from King Edward’s time, is located by the promenade at the beach and is opposite the West Pier. Thanks to the central location, everything is within walking distance: the beach, Preston Street with its many restaurants and bars, and the Churchill Square shopping center. In addition, the building houses a restaurant and pub.

With more than 40 rooms, the residence offers accommodations to suit every taste. You can choose between CLUB 1 and CLUB 2 rooms. Both options are comfortable however CLUB 2 rooms have a sea view.

• Room cleaning once or twice a week
• 15 minute walk to school
• 24 hour reception
• Breakfast, half board or full board can be booked additionally

Brighton itself offers a variety of different activities to participate in. Firstly, you should definitely go on a historical tour of the city. Also make sure you visit the Royal Pavilion, stroll through the city center and discover its varied shopping opportunities, or make the most of Brighton’s location – relax on the beach, play volleyball or enjoy a barbecue.

The Sprachcaffe English school in Brighton offers you the chance to go on excursions and organizes welcome and farewell parties, themed nights, weekend parties and pub crawls, beach parties, sporting activities and cultural visits to the Royal Pavilion and Brighton Museum, as well as to the theater and cinema.
