Homestay

We arrange everything for you. Students can experience English family life and can practise English away from school. Our homestay accommodation is close to the school, so students do not have to spend money on transport, they can walk to school. Homestay keeps students safe and secure, and our Accommodation Officer carefully matches students with families.

Year-round residence (Milton House)

A brand-new purpose-buit residence in the popular student area of Charminster, just 15 minutes' walk from the college. The residence has been designed and buit specifically for Kings students. Rooms are grouped in self-contained apartments of 5-7 study bedrooms.

Summer residence (Lyme Regis House)

Modern, purpose-buit student accommodation owned by Bournemouth University. Only 15 minutes' walk from the college.

There are lots of great activities here at Kings Bournemouth to keep you busy and entertained after lessons. Typical activities: volleyball, football, table-tennis, crazy golf, swimming, archery, mini-cruise, adventure trail, treasure hunt, roller-blading, cycle ride, forest walk, beach games, cinema, cabaret, quizzes, bingo, sing-along, karaoke, cream teas, art club, talent show, boat trip, picnics, beach parties, barbecues, sight-seeing.

The school has excellent leisure facilities including a basketball / volleyball court, table tennis tables, a badminton court (summer only) and a large screen mini-cinema.

In addition, the school is situated within walking distance of Bournemouth beach and Meyrick Park where students can play beach volleyball, football, cricket, rugby and team games. Outside Bournemouth: Poole, Brownsea, Island Snadbanks, Beach Swanage.
